On Monday, our son broke his tibia while skiing, and it showed me that people are good and kind. Thank you to them.

• The skier who helped me move him off the slope to safety on the terrace of the mountain restaurant a few dozen meters away.
• The person who ran over to bring us a chair so he would be more comfortable.
• The ski patroller who took care of him and brought him down to the gondola on a snowmobile.
• The gondola staff who lifted our spirits and did everything they could so we could get him out under the best possible conditions.
• The hospital staff who took great care of him and were all smiles while looking after him.
• etc.
